CASC credentialing is a distinction that indicates that the person holding the credentials has a comprehensive understanding of the knowledge and skills in the role of an ASC administrator. It gives individuals the confidence to speak intelligently with their board; it denotes knowledge and understanding that you have deliberately studied and analyzed what it takes to be an ASC administrator. Folks use this as a jumping off spot to further their careers and increase paygrades. It is important for the CASC individuals to shout from the mountain tops, ‘My CASC credential means something. It shows intelligence and common sense. It is important!'”
